A closed star is a star the clan has chosen to scope.

I will go into a little bit of detail now that Ree has gone over the basics with you.

Open and Closed Stars

The difference between an open star and a closed star [also known as a "clan star"] is that an open star is a star that has been scoped and found by one person who has decided to tell the clan and invite everyone to it. This is often referred to as "soloing." An open star will look like this in the clan chat Ex. W36 Yanille s4 open.

A closed star is a star the clan has chosen to scope. A scoper will stand at their telescope in their player owned houses and assign spots for you to stand at until the star is down. This star will be closed and only open to the scoper and spotters.

Freeloading

As mentioned earlier by Ree, freeloading is when you go to a closed star and mine it when you did not help spot. We will not tolerate freeloaders! You will be warned once then kicked if you do not respond within 2 minutes. If you continue entering the clan to try to freeload this will lead to a ban.

Stardust and Tubbies

Stardust-(sd) is a reward you earn from mining a star. 200 stardust is the maximum reward; it can be cashed in once a day. After you have your 200 stardust, give it to the tubby at the center of the star to collect your reward.

A tubby is the star sprite that lives inside the star which we mine in order to free him and get our reward. Tubbies are free and anyone may come to them to cash in their dust. After a star is mined the tubby will remain on Runescape for 10-15 minutes to allow players to cash in dust.

PVP and Wilderness stars

We will not scope wilderness or PVP stars as a clan. If someone wants to open a star in a PVP world, please warn people in the clan that this is a PVP world and come at your own risk. Same goes with Wildy stars, we may open them but we can't guarantee your protection.
